  1.  First, wash your face twice a day (morning and night), also after an intense workout when you sweat.
  2.  Secondly, prioritize moisturizer as having consistently dry skin can over-produce oils in your face.
  3.  Next, use SPF or regular drugstore sunscreen daily. UV rays can make dark spots on your skin worse and dry out your skin. 
  4. Fourthly, leave your face alone by restricting your hands and hair from your face. 
  5. Finally, use an over the counter retinoid on your entire face rather than treating specific spots.
